Susan is an orthodox vocational deacon who, by God’s grace, has one foot in the church and one foot in the community, interpreting the needs of the community to the church while sharing the transforming love of Jesus Christ and his church to the community. God has gifted her in the areas of teaching, pastoral care and healing.
Susan’s faith journey has taken her from her roots as a Byzantine Catholic, where she learned of the awesome majesty of God the Father, to the Presbyterian Church, where she learned of the saving grace of God the Son to the Charismatic church where she learned of the enabling power of God the Holy Spirit. She believes that God has knit these three streams together in the Anglican Church, where it is her honor and privilege to serve.
Susan and her husband, David, have their own law firm in Lake Placid, Florida, where they practice in the areas of real estate law, trusts and estates. They have two grown children, Elena and David. Elena recently received her PhD from the University of Florida and is currently doing post doctorate work in Quincy, Florida. David, who graduated with his BS in mechanical engineering, is finishing up his Master’s studies at the University of Central Florida and will graduate in December.
For relaxation, Susan and David enjoy boating, fishing and camping in our beautiful Florida State Parks.
